Celebrating Fair Housing Month, we are offering The At Home With Diversity Class for Free. NAR is also offering a discounted At Home With Diversity application fee of $40 surrounding Fair Housing Month. Normally application fee Is 75.00. The discounted price will run through May 31st, 2021.

Course Description and Outline REALTORS® know the importance of adapting and remaining relevant in today’s marketplace. By developing a business practice rooted in inclusion and equality, REALTORS® can help buyers of all cultural backgrounds achieve the dream of homeownership. The At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) certification course covers how to work effectively with diverse populations so you can build business success in today’s multicultural real estate market. Course Learning Outcomes: • Develop an increased awareness of cultural and personal biases that may inhibit you from fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business. • Learn inclusive, multi-cultural marketing and advertising strategies to broaden your client base. • Formulate an inclusive business plan to help you create an enduring business that is able to adapt and evolve to an ever-changing marketplace.

Class is two days. You must attend both days to receive credit.

He has been involved in REALTOR® education since 2012 for NAR, Washington REALTORS®, Seattle-King County REALTORS®, Windermere Professional Development, and teaches class nationwide and globally.  His experience in International Business and REALTOR® Leadership (Past Local & State President, Past Reginal VP for NAR) brings extra dimension to his teaching. Mark especially enjoys teaching Code of Ethic, Diversity/Global classes such as AHWD, Bias Override, Fair Housing, WA Residential CORE. CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist). His motto of “Global is Local” has help many REALTORS® improve their business skills to assist diverse cliental in their local Market, and his passion to assist fellow REALTORS® to elevate their professionalism shows on his style of teaching.

Margo has proudly worn the REALTOR®  ”R” and been a Women’s Council Member for more than 26 years. She is a working Broker in Tacoma, Washington at John L. Scott’s Tacoma-University Place office. Passionate about the industry, leadership and mentoring Margo has served as Tacoma-Pierce County Association and Women’s Council President, Washington State Women’s Council and Association of REALTORS®  President, 2011 National Women’s Council of REALTORS®  President, NAR 2018 REALTOR®  Party Director and currently is one of NAR’s Region 12 RPAC Fundraising Trustees. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Margo Wheeler is honored to have also served in the U.S. Army retiring at the rank of First Sergeant. She is a Mom, proud grandmother, mentor, real estate instructor, and fair housing advocate.
