Ombudsman services are less formal than traditional Mediation, and the training focuses on understanding the distinctions between the two processes while building both basic and advanced skills for serving effectively as an Ombudsman and Mediator. This course is ideal for members, volunteers, and staff who want to strengthen their understanding of informal dispute resolution, formal mediation practices, and the role these services play in resolving conflicts early and professionally.
