The At Home With Diversity® Course teaches REALTORS® how to:
• Assess and understand attributes of diversity in local markets and their impact on the real estate industry
• Understand basic competencies to earn the confidence of potential buyers and sellers, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, handicaps, familial status, or national origin
• Build a business plan that minimizes risk and successfully services all types of clients

This class will be taught over two days from 10am-1pm both dates, and students must attend both dates in order to receive clock hours.

Mark has been REALTOR in Washington State, since 2000. He has been involved REALTOR education since 2012 for Washington REALTORS, Seattle-King County REALTORS, Windermere Professional Development, and teach classes in nationwide and global bases. His experience in International Business and REALTOR Leadership (Past Local & State President, Past Regional VP for NAR) brings extra dimension to his teaching. Mark especially enjoy teaching Code of Ethic, Diversity/Global classes such as AHWD (At Home With Diversity), CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist). His motto of “Global is Local” has help many REALTORS improve their business skills to assist diverse clientele in their local Market, and his passion to assist fellow REALTORS to elevate their professionalism shows on his style of teaching. He was winner of Hugh Hawkins Award for 2016 (Instructor of the year) for Washington REALTORS. Instructor of the Year for Seattle-King County in 2017.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, has lived in MD, NC, SC, Europe, Korea, and Japan – she is a retired US Army First Sergeant. Margo has a unique way of presenting sensitive, timely topics using humor, interactive exercises, and stories in a thought-provoking, non-judgmental way. She encourages participants to share their experiences and truly enjoy themselves in her class. Margo brings useable ideas and techniques that can be put in effect immediately to expand your business and help serve your clients and customers more effectively.Margo is a certified instructor for the Department of Licensing, Washington State Housing Finance Commission, and Washington REALTOR® Association and has received numerous awards and accolades while instructing locally and nationally. Margo has served on the Board of Directors for the Tacoma Partners in Homeownership and Helping Hands House as well as President of the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS ®, and Tacoma and Washington State Women’s Council of REALTORS®.
