Washington REALTORS® is hosting a two-day Professional Standards class on February 27th and 28th from 9:00am -1:00pm. The instructor for the event will be Diane Disbrow of Shore Real Estate Academy. She is a respected Professional Standards instructor at the national level, and we are excited to bring her wealth of Professional Standards knowledge to Washington REALTORS®.
The class is for Association Executives, Board of Directors, Professional Standards Committee Members and anyone else interested!

The class will cover:
• Due Process
• Role of the Grievance Committee
• Role of Hearing Panelists
• Role of the Board of Directors
• Procuring Cause
• Writing Findings of Fact
• Changes to the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual, and changes to the Code of Ethics

Diane Disbrow
Diane Disbrow has 39 years of knowledge and experience in the real estate industry. She co-authored two books that will help Real Estate buyers and sellers. She is the owner and director of Shore Real Estate Academy since 1998.

Diane Disbrow teaches REALTOR Code of Ethics
Active at all levels of the REALTOR® organization, she has either served as chair or been a member of a variety of state and local association committees, including Grievance, Professional Standards, Risk Management/License Law, Presidential Advisory Group on Agency, and the Real Estate Commission’s Agency Task Force. She chaired the Real Estate Commission’s Continuing Education Task Force for two years prior to implementation and also chaired the Commission’s Designated Agency Task Force.
At the National level, Diane has chaired and served as a member of numerous committees and forums, including the Professional Conduct Work Group, Professional Standards Forum, Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board, Professional Standards Committee, Risk Management Committee and has served on the National Board of Directors since 1995.
Diane has presented numerous educational programs for the National Association of REALTORS® and for various state and local associations throughout the country.
