Christopher T Benis

Christopher Benis is a prominent Seattle attorney whose multifaceted career in northwest real estate began at a very early age. Thomas Benis, Chris’ father, was a real estate investor who took a hands-on approach to property ownership and nurtured his son’s interest and enthusiasm for the industry. Chris is a lifelong resident of WA State and a UW Law School graduate, specializing in real estate and construction law. Currently he is a partner at the firm of Harrison-Benis, LLP and his vast client list includes property management companies, real estate brokerages, individual investors, and corporations. Despite his busy law practice, he continues to manage his own rental properties, contribute articles to industry newsletters, teach classes, and present on a variety of topics for local trade associations.

Chris is a gifted speaker who utilizes his vast knowledge and experience to educate and empower his audience and brings the RLTA to life with an endless supply of client stories. His landlord-tenant law sessions are informative and entertaining, and you will leave with a better understanding of how to remain in compliance and how to address the real-world situations faced by property owners and managers in and around the city of Seattle.
