DescriptionLocationInstructors Current Issues in Washington residential real estate (CORE): 9:00am-12:30pm The Washington State Real Estate Commission and the Department of Licensing have adopted rules that require the completion of 3.0 clock hours of prescribed core curriculum. The 3.0 mandatory clock hours must be included in the 30 hours required for all active licensees. 2014-2015 topics include: legislative/legal update; dual agency; sellers disclosure, Agency Law, referrals, signatory authority, as well as distressed properties. Fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate: 1:30pm-5:00pm This class focuses on illustrating key differences between commercial and residential transactions to help Realtors avoid making costly assumptions. From there we cover best practices on how to successfully navigate the process from start to finish. Components of this class include identifying the players, reviewing types of commercial property & transactions, contracts, marketing avenues and finally resources. This class will provide a foundation to expand your practice and business reach.
